Graduation Announcements

In my freelance work I take on a variety of different projects. Lately, I’ve been focusing on designing graduation announcements, a lovely tradition that seems to be fading. Physical announcements feel joyful and celebratory, and you can update them in simple, modern ways, like including a Venmo handle to help graduates collect gifts while making it easy and convenient for family and friends to contribute.

My first ‘client’ was my sister, who had her senior portraits done by Ella Ewing Photography over the summer. I crafted many iterations with a variety of photos, but landed on one I had edited because the day had been cloudy and the scenery screamed vibrance. I overlaid a scripted font, combining it with serifed fonts on the back for the body text.
