Salisbury University Student Research Conference

I was tasked with designing an original, creative, and visually interesting poster for the Salisbury University Student Research Conference. This conference is a research conference that encompasses many fields of study offered by SU, including Health & Human Services, Liberal Arts, Science & Tech, and Business Education.

Brain Storm

I began my ideation by creating a mood board that included the necessary information and representation. I searched for suitable typefaces and produced variations of the official school Pantone color options.

Sketches

I created three options of rough sketches, exploring grids, and dynamic layouts. I eventually chose to focus on the middle sketch and push it further

Final Design

The final design was submitted along with 11 other designs. Through a unanimous decision, my design won and was chosen to represent the conference this spring.
